About Åsa

Hej hej! My name is Åsa Danielsson and I am a licensed Tour Guide from Stockholm, Sweden. Travel has been my passion since I was a little girl and made my own mini travel guide to my dream destinations in Europe. More than 65 countries and many adventures later, I can truly say that I feel at home in so many parts of the world. Places that has become extra special to me include Spain, Argentina, Egypt, Japan and Brazil. My native tongue is Swedish but you can approach me in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Danish and Norwegian, and I can improvise in a few other languages too.

Ten years ago a dream came true; I became a travelling Tour Guide, working mostly in Scandinavia, Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay. I have been lucky to be head hunted by Rick Steves, a tour company and a person with a travel philosophy that I share 100%. Today I share my time between being a Licensed Local Guide in Stockholm, working as an official guide at the Swedish Parliament and doing tours for Rick Steves mainly in Scandinavia and Spain. And now, I am also creating amazing, unique itineraries throughout Scandinavia for small groups including my own favourite places and lots of hidden gems of the beaten path.
