The Nobel Prize experience

Uppsala - vibrant and quaint University town

Uppsala is home to Scandinavias oldest University and largest Cathedral. World famous scientists such as Carl Linneus, Anders Celsius and many more, lived and studied here centuries ago. Todays students come from all over the world and make this a vibrant, youthful city with its unique university traditions. Just outside the city lies the ancient mounds of mythical Old Uppsala, once the site of the most impressive viking temple.

Sigtuna -
where Sweden began

Small town charm and the birthplace of Sweden as we know it. On a tour to Sigtuna you both get the wings of history and a glance in to what Swedish life today is like outside the bigger cities. All a boat ride (in summer) or a quick bus trip away from Stockholm. Beautifully located by the shores of lake Mälaren, Sigtuna is the perfect day excursion from Stockholm.
